The Youth & College members in Ventura County motto "Making a difference in our Community".  Martin Luther King once said "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter . The NAACP the forefounders of the civil rights, and most effective civil rights organization in the country is the voice for all minorities.  the NAACP will continue the fight for freedom until all people achieve the equal hand of justice. Join the thousands who have committed their selves for this cause.

Today a partial victory was won with the arrest of George Zimerman. However, keep in mind the battle is far from over, we still have a long road ahead of us until justice is served for the murder of Trayvon Martin. Due to the persistence of all people, of all races, African Americans, White and Hispanic people who rallied and stood up for Trayvon, as a nation of people we “Made a difference”. It took 45 days for this arrest to happen, and if finally did. We will continue to pray, stand in faith, seeking justices for Trayvon. We believe that the juridical system will work. Justice shall prevail!

Benjamin Todd Jealous, NAACP President & CEO stated "the NAACP family thoughts and prayers are with Trayvon’s family".  We are grateful for the courage and tenacity of Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin that continue to help shape a national movement for justice for their son and for all of America’s children.”

As youth and college members of the NAACP, and as future leaders, “we are the faces of many, many who have been racial profiled”. ............I am Trayvon Martin, We are Trayvon Martin!
